Without neglecting the members, KPD has developed from a cooperative that provides lending to a conglomerate that to date has assets at a book value of RM689.5 million.

On 12 July 1976, a new designation, “KOPERASI POLIS DIRAJA MALAYSIA BERHAD (KPD)” was introduced.
KPD also expanded its wings by being directly involved in in the following industries:

KPD is one of four financial institutions recognized by Parliament as a Bumiputra Fund Agency. The other three institutions involve Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) and Lembaga Tabung Haji (LTH).

Unsecured Personal Financing
Personal Loan Koperasi Polis DiRaja Malaysia (KPDRM) Berhad product is an unsecured personal financing offered to qualified KPDRM members.
- Profit rate is calculated based on a fixed rate (flat rate).
- Maximum amount of financing of RM150,000.00 subject to eligibility.
- Maximum financing period of 10 years (120 months)
- This product is a Shariah -compliant personal financing product the concept of Tawarruq.
- The interest rate charged is 4.50% calculated annually at a fixed rate (flat) according to the approved financing period.
- Profit calculation is based on the method of “Rule 78” or “Sum of the Years” Digits ”.
- Sinking Fund 1.0% for financing of RM 20,000 or 2.0% for financing in excess of RM 20,000. Funds are an internal mechanism as an alternative to
Takaful. - Processing Charge of RM 100.00 for each approved funding application.
- 2 months initial installment is taken for financing over a period of 60 months. Installment subsequently made through pay cuts.
Guaranteed Personal Financing
Personal Loan Koperasi Polis DiRaja Malaysia Berhad product is a guaranteed personal financing offered to members
A decent KPDRM.
- Profit rate is calculated based on a fixed rate (flat rate).
- Maximum amount of financing of RM 10,000.00 only or 12 months salary principal + accrued fees, subject to whichever is lower.
- Maximum financing period of 05 years (60 months).
Express / Easy Financing
This personal loan product from Koperasi Polis DiRaja Malaysia Berhad is an Express / Easy Financing offered to members
A decent KPDRM.
- Profit rate is calculated based on a fixed rate (flat rate).
- Total financing is between RM1,000.00 to RM2,000.00 as well subject to the total fees accumulated by members in KPDRM.
- Maximum financing period of 01 years (12 months).
